You might want some plain healthy green color added to you sweet potato line but we really added this for another reason. For years people have asked if you can eat the potato produced by the ornamental sweet potato. The answer is YES but you really won't enjoy it much. Very dry and tasteless. Beauregard is a good eating potato. Sweet potato slips are available from regular suppliers only for brief periods each year, but if that period doesn't match your season you can get some Beauregard from us whenever you like.
