This plant has a mild but pleasant fragrance. You may need quite a mass of flowers to appreciate the fragrance. Incense has been surviving and thriving at our farm for over ten years with absolutely no attention so I would consider it the most hardy of the Passiflora we produce with the exception of the Maypop.
