Robrick Nursery

Shipping Methods

FedEx Ground/Express & UPS

We use ground boxes designed to fit up to 4 liner trays securely. For sensitive plants, we may use netting to reduce potential damage during transit. Certain states require the Express shipping option to ensure plants arrive safely within a 2-3 day window. We recommend ordering in increments of 4 trays to maximize packaging efficiency.

FedEx Freight

For larger orders, we use FedEx Freight and ship using our specially designed LinerMax boxes, each accommodating 30 trays safely. These boxes can be double-stacked to hold up to 60 trays per skid. Additionally, smaller boxes placed on top allow shipping of up to 72 trays per skid. Customers might need a forklift, loading dock, or lift gate service for unloading. Freight shipping maximizes value and minimizes plant damage from handling.

Customer Pickup

Customers can arrange pickup at our facility throughout the week. Please call ahead to schedule your pickup time.

Local Trucking

We partner with local trucking companies to ship liners across Florida. Availability varies throughout the year, and larger quantities are usually required. Please contact us directly to check availability and schedule deliveries.

Weather

We regularly monitor weather conditions to ensure plants are delivered safely and on time. Our ground boxes feature a double-layer design for extra insulation, and we include 72-hour heat packs in both ground and freight boxes to maintain proper temperatures during transport.

Smart Packaging

Robrick has been a leader in packaging innovation for many years. Our original shipping box, widely adopted by the industry, significantly reduces shipping damage and replacement shipments. We avoid Styrofoam and instead use a double-box corrugated cardboard design for shipping to colder climates. This environmentally friendly method simplifies recycling and relies on renewable resources.

Historically, Robrick Nursery maintains a claims rate of less than 1%, enhancing our commitment to sustainability. In 2008, we pioneered the Big Box method with Packaging Corporation of America and Federal Express Freight, reducing freight costs, plant damage, and corrugated material use by 40% compared to traditional boxes.
